Content Marketing Strategist (Remote)

What This Role Involves: The Content Creation Specialist is the ‘face’ of CCS, creating and appearing in videos and social media content that represents the meaningful work our organization does in a way that resonates with Canadians. Your role will be to use your graphic design, video editing, and content creation skills to create engaging content that draws consumer attention and supports awareness of the organization and its impact. Your role is a key component of our overall marketing and awareness strategy, working collaboratively with other members of the Marketing & Community Engagement team.

In addition, we offer an annual salary review process each January, so the successful candidate can expect to receive regular increases to their salary, subject to meeting established performance objectives.

Our team has the opportunity to work remotely on a hybrid basis, but even though we aren’t in the same office, we have chat groups and activities supported by our Culture Club, to offer our team the chance to develop relationships and have some fun at work too!

Three weeks vacation to start, plus 3 CCS days to use at your discretion and 6 Sick/Personal Days each year. Fluency in French is an asset. Candidates who can work with both French and English will qualify for a Bilingual Credit, valued at $800 annually and paid on a prorated bi-weekly basis.

Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field is required, ideally in a related field such as business or communications.
Two to three years of experience in marketing, social media content creation, video production, and/or graphic design is a requirement for this role.
Experience in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite [Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Indesign]) is an asset.
Strong understanding of and interest in multiple social media platforms (e.g., X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
High proficiency in computer office applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Products like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).

This is a full-time position that requires you to have the ability to work on a hybrid basis, with potential for remote work from your primary residence. From time to time and with advance notice, this position may be required to work from a CCS office location and/or to attend meetings in office.
