Instructor, Automotive Service Technician

The College is currently seeking a dynamic and competent individual for the position of Instructor Electric Vehicle: Automotive Service Technician in Fredericton. Position Type: Casual to April 2026
Salary Range: $33.85 to $52.08 per hour based on experience and level of post-secondary education.
As part of the School of Professional and Part-time Learning collaborating with and reporting to the Business Development Operations Manager you are responsible for planning and preparing instructional materials and resources for the in-person delivery of the Electric Vehicle: Automotive Service Technician microcredential; building and sustaining professional relationships with students colleagues community partners and stakeholders as well as other related duties.

Education and Experience:
A valid Automotive Service Technician Red Seal license with related years of work experience.
Preference will be given to candidates who have a minimum of three (3) years of recent and related work experience at the Journeypersons level including the ability to inspect diagnose maintain and service current model vehicles in the automotive service industry.
Self-motivated service and results oriented.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Highly flexible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to navigate and build relationships effectively throughout the organization.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional training in any of the following would be considered an asset:
