McKenzie Health Care Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Recreation Therapist to join the team full-time within a leading seniors care facility located in Red Deer County Alberta .
In this role the Recreation Therapist:
Develops and implements personalized therapeutic recreation programs tailored to residents needs.
Supervises and guides recreational assistants fostering a collaborative team environment.
Conducts assessments develops treatment plans and monitor progress to maximize resident independence and participation.
Promotes physical cognitive social and emotional well-being through engaging activities.
Looking for a Recreation Therapist who:
Holds a Bachelors degree (or higher) in Recreation Therapy.
Member of ATRA Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Therapist Association
Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates a passion for working with seniors and promoting their well-being.
