Assembly - Electrical Assembler

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Electrical Assembler. Eaton Airdrie is a fully integrated manufacturing plant that has been serving Canadian businesses for over 44 years. Currently, it produces a range of electrical products, for both national and global markets. Reporting to the Production Manager, this position is responsible for mounting and basic wiring of components with standard layouts/options, performs sub-assembly functions as required, and develops enhanced wiring skills under the direction of a more experienced Electrical Assembler.

Assemble and mount electrical, mechanical, and sub-assembly components onto pan, into enclosures, structures etc.

Wire electrical products with basic/standard options as required.

Wire electrical products with a non-standard option.

Deliver sub-assemblies to the production areas.

Support inventory maintenance.

1-year experience working in an electrical manufacturing environment.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Ability to recognize quality issues and make judgements

Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
