Digital Print Operator
If you have some technical background in printing, IT or manufacturing, then this job could be a match! Have you ever run a large printer? If you haven't, do you think you would be able to with the right training? If you have personality, a knowledge seeking mentality, and some basic computer skills, we should talk!
Responsibilities:
Operate digital printing equipment with a view towards quality and timeliness.
Create orders while adhering to customer specifications.
Ongoing communication with production on print status and inventory levels.
Colour matching, quality control.
Digital Bindery and finishing.
Minor equipment maintenance, consumables, cleaning.
Skills and Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of computer systems.
Communication and time management skills, and an eye for detail.
Ability and willingness to switch gears at a moment'ss notice.
Ability to work independently within a strong, fast-paced, cooperative environment.
Bonus Marks:
Any type of print knowledge. Computer experience (ideally in a technical environment).
Mailing knowledge, Canada Post experience.
Certificate program graduate, post-secondary or equivalent work experience.
Familiar with Adobe suite.
Proofreading experience.
This is a full-time position in Regina. Wages based on experience.
