This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers food service customers and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry beef egg alternative protein salt oils starches sweeteners cocoa and chocolate.
The Occupational Health Nurse (13 month term) will perform occupational health care activities including health and wellness training and education employee health services and this position you will be licensed to practice in your province of employment.
Using technical knowledge and training assist in designing and executing employee health and wellness programs.
Responsible of Emergency Response for minor- critical injuries.
Conduct safety and ergonomic training and administer drug and alcohol programs.
Treat evaluate and assess employee illness and/or injury and determine appropriate medical direction.
Develop formulate and implement plans of care based on standing orders and medical directives.
Help determine what employees can do under a restrictive duty program when they can return to work and when to refer them to an outside medical provider.
You will work under the direct supervision and handle basic issues and problems while referring more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Bachelors degree in Nurse
Proficient in Microsoft office and Excel
Experience designing and administering employee health and wellness programs for a large organization
Experience in occupational health and nursing
Experience in acute care or emergency care
Advanced first aid certification
Relocation assistance will not be provided.
Schedule of Monday to Friday 6:00 pm to 2:00 am.
