ATCO Frontec is seeking casual on-call Red Seal Journeyman Electricians to join our ATCO Facility Solutions team in Edmonton AB . The Journeyman Electrician will oversee the maintenance inspections modifications and installation/dismantling of electrical systems across our construction/Maintenance projects.
Where We Work and Live:
ATCO Frontec provides construction preventative and corrective maintenance services for our customers throughout Alberta. Our maintenance teams are mobile and travel will be required in this position.
Responsibilities:
Installing maintaining and repairing electrical systems in new and existing construction/Maintenance projects.
Install conduits and wiring through walls floors and ceilings.
Installing and terminating electrical equipment and fixtures
Ensure all installations repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes
Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues using an appropriate testing device
Generator (APU)and Transfer switch inspection and maintenance
Training and mentoring apprentice electricians
Generate Annual Panel/Transformer Maintenance reports.
Should be able to pull necessary permits if required.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Red Seal Journeyman Plumber Certificate with a minimum of 3 years experience is required.
Class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract is required.
Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test Fit-to-Work Test and Extensive Background Check.
Must be able to obtain Government Security Clearance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Able to read drawings and schematics.
Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety.
Willing to travel.
