Ledcor Highway Maintenance is now hiring Sweeper operators with a safety-first mindset to support our highway maintenance team in the greater Edmonton area.

You will be responsible for spring and summer seasonal maintenance of Alberta highways, using various heavy equipment. As we respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required

Start Date: April 13th - Spring/Summer Season runs April through October

Travel, shift work, on call availability and night shift required during operating months

Work locations span provincial & municipal highways across Alberta

Operate street sweepers, wheel loader and other heavy and light equipment as required

Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways, including assisting with labour duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, etc.)

Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement

Previous experience operating a sweeper and/or wheel loader is a strong asset
