A custom manufacturing organization in Hamilton has an opening for a Welder Fitter earning $30 to $37 per hour, with top earners making in the mid-$40s. This company designs, manufactures, and reconditions custom heavy-duty material handling and lifting equipment such as custom spreader beams, lifters, and C-hooks designed for safe overhead lifting. - work with heavy gauge material from ½” plate up to 24” thick plate
- work with cranes and rigging
Minimum 5 years of custom fabrication experience as a Welder Fitter
- CWB tickets for Metal-core and STICK are considered a strong asset
- Proven proficiency reading blueprints, technical schematics, and weld symbols
- Hands-on operational experience with overhead cranes and heavy rigging
