Animator
Bardel is looking for Senior, Intermediate and Junior level Animators for our 3D Animated Featurette. We are looking for strong performance and acting skills and animators that work collaboratively, helping to shape character performances. Bring characters and objects to life through compelling animation that aligns with the project’s creative vision.
Collaborate with the Animation Supervisor/leads to refine performance, timing, and movement in scenes.
Interpret storyboards and animatics into fully realized animation, adding nuance and personality to characters.
Ensure consistency in style and quality across all assigned shots, adhering to the established animation guidelines.
~ Engage in dailies, rounds, and team discussions to contribute to creative and technical improvements.
Adhere to pipeline workflows and technical requirements for seamless integration into the production process.
~ Maintain consistency in quality while meeting production needs.
Previous production experience as an Animator (or similar) in TV series or featurette animation.
~ Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and acting for animation.
A range of character animation showcasing strong performance and acting skills
Strong grasp of weight, timing/spacing, and appeal in animation performance.
Clear understanding of storytelling through animation.
Pay Range: CAD $1100 - $1500 per week
