A Production Technician is a crucial part of the operation with a great deal of responsibility in making product within specification, assuring quality, focus on machine efficiency to meet and or exceed our customer’s expectations. As a production technician, you may work in any of the areas around the mill.

Most technician positions run our process with human-machine interface (HMI) – control machinery through automated computer programs on a control panel.
Perform quality inspections and document results.
Post-Secondary Education or 3 years of related work experience are preferred.
Experience working in a manufacturing facility preferred.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts that support a 24/7 operation.
Ability to perform physical tasks that involve lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects, materials and equipment up to 50lbs.
Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders, and navigating around equipment and machinery.
Endurance to stand and walk for extended periods, often in environments with dust, chemicals, high noise levels and varying temperatures.
This position offers an attractive compensation package with a gain and profit-sharing plan, as well as an excellent Health/Dental and Pension Plan and very supportive team-based work environment. The starting rate of pay for the position is $58,855.00 per year plus shift premiums.
