Hair stylist or colorist Location Mississauga, ON L5G 4T9 : Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our clients. Your expertise in hair styling, combined with strong customer service skills, will help us maintain our reputation for excellence in the beauty industry. Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client requests and offering professional advice on hair care and styling options.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and contribute to salon revenue.
Assist with front desk duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and follow-up on their hair care needs.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role is preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong knowledge of hair styling techniques, products, and tools.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Experience in upselling products or services is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
