Software Development Engineer (Full Stack Developer)

Summer 2026 Co-op: Software Engineering Co-op (AI & Full Stack) (4 Months)

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineering Co-op with strong skills in full-stack development, AI/ML, and modern application engineering. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder who enjoys solving problems, creating prototypes, and working across both frontend and backend technologies.

In this role, the student will contribute to application development, AI feature integration, data workflows, and technical research to support ongoing product or engineering initiatives.

Develop features across the stack using technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, Java, or similar.

• AI/ML Implementation
• Support development of AI-driven features using libraries and APIs such as TensorFlow, OpenAI APIs, or computer vision frameworks.
• Assist in training, testing, and tuning ML models.
• Integrate AI-based capabilities into applications or prototypes.

Data Processing & Analytics

• Work with data pipelines, real-time data sources, or analytics platforms.
• Assist in improving performance, latency, or scalability of data-driven workflows.
• Contribute to research and analysis tasks as needed.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, team discussions, and code reviews.

• Prepare clear technical documentation, diagrams, and demo walkthroughs.

Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program.

• Strong programming experience in Python, Java, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with full-stack technologies (React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, etc.).
• Exposure to AI/ML or computer vision (TensorFlow, OpenCV, MediaPipe, etc.).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and common development tools.
• Experience with mobile or desktop applications (Android Studio, JavaFX, etc.).
• Experience participating in team-based engineering or robotics projects.
• Interest in AI integration, automation, and emerging technologies.
