Essential Functions

Manage Microsoft Active Directory and all other AD related services.

Manage Microsoft Azure Infrastructure environment & Microsoft 365, including both infrastructure as a service and software as a service solution such as Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access Policy, AVD, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Team and OneDrive for Business, Microsoft SharePoint Online, Co-pilot, etc.

Design and implement complex solutions in Microsoft Azure environment.

Manage Azure cloud application performance for optimal system configuration and security settings.

Manage and coordinate the patch management process for Microsoft Windows Servers and others as required by the Information Security team.

Participate in server infrastructure initiatives and projects as required.

Create and maintain detailed documentation for responsibility areas.

Communicate efficiently and effectively with all infrastructure team members.

Provide tier 3 user support in a large geographically dispersed environment.

Monitor tickets assigned to the Infrastructure and Cloud Services team and respond in a timely manner.

Participate in the management of other non-cloud-based systems, Including VMware, Cisco UCS, Veeam and SQL backups

Participate in after-hours and on-call rotation and monthly systems preventive maintenance.

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Information Technology

Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure and M365 design and administration roles.

Hold Microsoft Azure certification (preferably Microsoft Azure Administrator).

Hold at least ONE other certification MCITP / MCSE / VCP being a definite asset.

Working knowledge of EMC storage arrays UNITY and VPLEX being a definite asset.

Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL database and SharePoint is considered an asset.

Working knowledge of Azure Local being a definite asset.

Minimum 8 years of experience excelling in a server administrator role.

Enterprise Messaging - Microsoft Exchange online, Outlook mobile.

Working knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2016+

Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 (deployment and administration).

VMware vSphere 7/8 (administration).

Working knowledge of Cisco UCS system.

Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Copilot in tools like Word, Excel, Outlook, or Teams to enhance productivity and decision-making.

Working knowledge of generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Perplexity, or Gemini.

Competent technical writing skills, including the ability to create clear documentation and step-by-step how-to guides for internal teams or end users, are a definite asset.

Ability to make sound and logical judgments.
