- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including cooks, prep workers, and dishwashers
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Prepare and submit reports
- Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys
- Inspect food preparation and serving areas to maintain cleanliness and proper operation
- Plan, organize, and oversee food preparation to ensure consistency, quality, and timely service
- Address and resolve any issues related to kitchen operations or staff performance
Languages: English
Experience: 1-2 years of experience required
Education: Completion of high school education
