Job Summary And Requirements This is for one (1) full-time permanent position, working 75 hours bi-weekly.

The Land Management Branch provides regulatory stewardship of public land for the benefit of current and future generations of all Yukon people.
As part of the Land Client Services team, the Special Projects Advisor provides expertise to governments and stakeholders on vast and varied land-related legal and operational issues in a dynamic and fast paced work environment. The Special Projects Advisor analyzes and interprets legislation and policies to advise governments, the public, and organizations on resolution of complex land matters. This role is central to the advancement of significant land-related initiatives and project management and also plays a key role in supporting staff and program development.

Experience in project management
Experience providing advice and options to management
Experience working within a legislative or policy framework
Experience working with and analyzing complex land management issues is an asset
Candidates with an equivalent combination of post-secondary education along with significant experience in the above will be equally considered.
Willingness to travel to remote areas within the Yukon
Obtain Notary public certification within 12 months of start date
