Floor Sales Manager

Davis Chevrolet in Airdrie is seeking a Floor Manager to join our sales team! Reporting to the GSM, you will coach, train and mentor our Product Experts to drive sales and grow the business through our ‘One Price, One Person' model.

Our ideal candidate comes from a proven track record in high volume sales, is able to leverage their exceptional customer experience to overcome client objections, prefers to have their “boots on the ground” rather than sitting behind a desk, and is a strong team player committed to results. The successful candidate can expect to earn $80,000 to $120,000 per year or more.

Overview of role:

• Train, coach and mentor sales employees on best practices for closing deals and provide advice and guidance to drive sales performance
• Assist Product Experts in all aspects of the sales process from appointment setting to deal closing and follow-up while balancing the needs of the customer, the Product Expert and the dealership
• Conduct team and one-on-one meetings to share successes, progress towards goal achievement, understand barriers and challenges and make suggestions to improve performance
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring our employees make customer satisfaction a priority to create customer loyalty and generate referrals
• Assist the sales team in appraising vehicles
• Work with customers to overcome objections, and perform regular Manager follow-up calls with customers
• Conduct regular training sessions to keep the sales team informed of product knowledge, sales techniques and more
• Maintain effective communication within the sales department and with other leaders in the dealership; working together to identify opportunities and resolve issues

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales, with some experience in a leadership capacity is preferred
• Experience in selling back-end products is considered a strong asset
• Possess an in-depth understanding in automotive sales strategy, lead generation and deal closing in order to coach and provide feedback
• Collaborative team player committed to achieving goals and contributing to the success of the dealership
• Results driven with exceptional planning, organization and execution skills and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills including the ability to use tact, sensitivity, empathy and professionalism when interacting with customers and employees
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract
• Evening and Weekend Availability
