Job Overview
Bright Horizons Occupational Therapy provides OT services to children and adolescents in the Regina, SK area. We are committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive services to children and their families. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving clients' ability to perform daily activities
- Educate clients and their families about treatment processes and strategies for ongoing support
- Document client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on patient response
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licence with the Saskatchewan College of Occupational Therapists
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both individually and with a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in home settings, requiring travel to clients' homes
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation for home visits
