ICT Security Consultant

Our Calgary client is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor for an initial 12-month contract to provide holistic security guidance across their enterprise. In this role, you will join a high-performing Cybersecurity Office, working closely with enterprise architects and business partners to ensure secure strategic outcomes. Work within a sophisticated Cybersecurity Office (CSO) focused on protecting critical infrastructure and digital resiliency.

• Gain exposure to a wide variety of both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
• Build a reputation as a trusted partner and consultant for high-visibility enterprise projects.
• Provide technical and non-technical security consulting to project teams to ensure safe business outcomes.
• Evaluate and manage the health of security barriers and controls using established architecture standards.
• Analyze high-level risks to ensure the efficient placement and efficacy of cyber risk barriers.
• Advise on the specific requirements and implementation details for new cybersecurity solutions.
• Support the long-term strategy for cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity, IT, or Operational Technology (OT) domains.
