Platform Engineer (m/w/d)

Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer – 6-Month Contract (High Renewal Potential!)
Security Clearance: Must be eligible for or hold Protected B clearance
You’ll work with a high-impact team building and maintaining mission-critical platform frameworks supporting enterprise-scale operations.
Looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to support, maintain, and evolve our core platform frameworks. You’ll take ownership of complex platforms end-to-end—from design and build through deployment, optimization, and Tier 3 support—while mentoring other engineers and contributing to long-term platform roadmaps.
Influence platform strategy and architecture decisions
Collaborative environment with strong technical ownership

Build, deploy, and maintain highly available, resilient, and high-performance platforms
Create build configurations and automate deployments across environments
Tune platforms for optimal performance and document procedures
Collaborate with automation teams to develop CI/CD and deployment automation
Provide Tier 3 support and technical leadership during outages
Coach, mentor, and train platform engineers and cross-functional teams
Must meet Protected B security clearance requirements
Additional Experience & Technical Background
GitLab, Ansible Tower, UiPath, Artifactory)
3–5 years of middleware and technology infrastructure experience
6–9 years supporting web applications
3–5 years of private and/or public cloud experience
Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Git)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
Understanding of relational and non-relational databases
Knowledge of information security standards (PCI, SOC 1/2)
Splunk) and monitoring solutions
Post-secondary diploma or university degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
