If you’re an experienced Architectural Technologist / Designer who thrives in technically complex environments, enjoys collaborative problem-solving, and wants exposure to confidential public-sector work that few professionals ever get access to — this is it.

As part of the architectural team, you’ll translate design intent into clear, buildable solutions and play a key role in delivering a technically robust set of construction documents.

Developing and refining detailed architectural drawings and technical packages that meet quality, schedule, and budget targets - using Revit

Contributing to all phases of design, from early programming through detailed documentation

Conducting code analysis, systems research, and material investigations

Coordinating layouts, details, and assemblies with engineering disciplines

Reviewing shop drawings, consultant submissions, and technical deliverables

Working closely with contractors and consultants to resolve constructability and coordination issues

Participating in site reviews and addressing technical challenges as they arise

6–12 years of professional experience on architectural projects

• Experience working with public-sector or institutional projects (government/federal or institutional, community, cultural, civic, etc.) But will consider other large or complex project experience
• Advanced proficiency in Revit (this role is hands-on and production-focused)
• Solid understanding of building codes, construction methods, and building systems in Canada
• Post-secondary education in Architecture or a related field
• Registration (or eligibility) with a professional architectural association is an asset
• Reliability clearance preferred or ability to obtain it (mandatory - this requires a background check dating back 10 years - if this too difficult to obtain due to partial experience/history being in overseas countries where capacity to obtain is limited, then it won't move forward).
