Bring your financial and procurement experience along with your strong analytical skills to this exciting opportunity at the Ministry of Transportation. Under the supervision of the Head of Contracts Services Section, you will help to maintain and monitor the ministry's commitment to deliver the Construction and Maintenance Programs.
Provide and maintain financial, forecasting and material controls for the Construction Management Office to meet Regional commitments
Assist, prepare and maintain annual contract budgets
Provide procurement and tendering support to Ministry staff
Prepare correspondence and liaise with MTO staff, service providers and other stakeholders

Technical Skills:
Knowledge of procurement and tendering policies and processes as they relate to the acquisition of service providers engaged in the delivery of highway construction
Proficiency with computers and numerous software applications including MS Office
Communication, Interpersonal Skills and Relationship Building Skills:
Demonstrated ability to support, promote and implement organizational change
Analytical, Research, Planning and Problem Solving Skills:
Proven skills in data gathering and analysis techniques to gather financial and technical data
Demonstrated sound planning skills to prioritize workload and coordinate with other program areas
