Position Description
TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT - approximately 52 weeks POSITION SUMMARY The Retail Shift Supervisor reports directly to the Retail Site Manager and is responsible for maintaining store operations, performing daily functions/tasks and provide exemplary customer service in order to achieve sales budgets and maximize profit.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum grade 12 education
• 1-3 years' experience in retail sales and customer service
• Excellent sales, point of sale and cash balancing skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative
• Proven display and merchandising skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Team oriented

RESPONSIBILITIES Some of the responsibilities include:
Provide exemplary customer service
Provide accurate and efficient service at cash and comply with procedures for daily balancing of the Point of Sale System
Restocking in order to drive sale, ensure prices are correct and signage is appropriate and in good condition
Participate in planning and executing of store set-up, assists with preparation and count of the yearend inventory
Supervise and guide volunteers, assign tasks and distribute their daily work
All other duties as assigned
HOURS OF WORK: Part-time hours - must be flexible. Will be required to work days, evenings and weekends.
