The Medical Radiation Technologist performs a variety of radiological imaging techniques including X-ray fluoroscopy CT and operating room studies. The successful applicant will also performs examinations in the Mammography and Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP) including biopsies and needle localizations. This full-time position will work days evenings nights weekends and statuatory holidays. The MRT will also participate in student clinical education.
Current registration and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in Radiography is required
Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is preferred
Recent experience in general radiography gastrics mobile radiography intra-operative radiography including orthopedic radiographic OR procedures is required
Recent Mammography experience including all breast interventional procedures is required
Demonstrated excellence in breast positioning to consistently produce high quality mammograms
