Construction General Manager

Job Description
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion.
Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans to meet objectives.
Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
Supervise construction teams to maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
Monitor project performance and address issues promptly to minimize delays.
Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and management.
Ensure all materials and resources are procured and allocated effectively.
Manage risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies as needed.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Construction Project Manager should have:
Proven experience managing construction projects within the institutional buildings sector in a GC environment ranging from renovations to new builds between $5M and $60M in scope.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management principles.
Exceptional organizational and leadership skills to manage teams and resources effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
Problem-solving abilities to address challenges during project execution.
