Instructor Therapist

As an ABA Therapist on our team, you are an integral part of our specialized services for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other developmental disabilities. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of experts to support your clients in achieving their goals. Our commitment to excellence goes beyond the way we serve our communities. Center and community-based. Travel is required
Saturday from 9am - 1pm

Contributes to the development of ABA programs established by the BCBA to teach and reinforce a variety of skills for children and youth in a 1:1 and/or small group setting
Adhere to all ABA training, procedures and protocols
Ability to adapt to changing conditions and/or routine and provide creative solutions
Responsible for maintaining the well-being and safety of the client while under their care
Responsible to track client progress through the collection of data and graphing while keeping clients engaged • Assists in conducting baseline measurements and other indirect measures as instructed by the Lead Therapist/BCaBA/BCBA
Responsible to complete incident report in Microsoft Teams as per regional requirements within 24 hours of an incident
Prepares teaching materials and organizes teaching environment
Organize and maintain program binders foreach client to include documentation, data collection, and individual files
Experience working with children and youth with complex needs and/or developmental disabilities will be considered an asset
Enrollment in or degree from a post-secondary program of Psychology, Educational Psychology, Special Education, or another related field is an asset
Autism Spectrum Disorder specific coursework, training or workshops an asset
Experience working with clients who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities
