As a Junior Legal Assistant at Diamond and Diamond Personal Injury Lawyers, you will be an integral part of our team, assisting in various legal and administrative tasks. This role is open to recent graduates and newer legal assistants who are eager to kickstart their legal careers and grow within a reputable law firm.
The role of a Junior Legal Assistant consists of the following:
Answering and directing emails, phone calls, and in-person inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
Process data entry for the opening, maintaining, and closing of files
Coordinating and monitoring administrative functions to ensure work is completed accurately and within established time frames
Executing administrative duties such as proofreading, editing, invoicing, printing and photocopying
Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned by supervising lawyers or management
Legal Assistant and/ or Paralegal Diploma is an asset
Excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong technical skills and proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
