Product Development Engineering Technician
$35 - $40 per hourR&D Engineer II – Medical Devices (Systems Focus)
Work Mode: Hybrid (3+ days onsite/week)
Contract Duration: ~6 months
We are seeking a R&D Engineer II with a strong systems engineering focus to join our medical device development team. Our engineers are involved in all stages of product development —from concept and design to prototyping, testing, and manufacturing transfer. This role also provides exposure to regulatory filings, intellectual property development, and collaboration with suppliers to integrate complex system components.
Assist in the design of cutting-edge medical devices through prototyping, testing, and modeling
Participate on project teams to define system and sub-system requirements (hardware, software, firmware, mechanical, electrical, interface)
Develop and execute test methods, validation plans, and validation testing
Support creation and maintenance of technical reports, DHF, and DMR documentation
Support regulatory submissions and intellectual property initiatives
Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Systems Engineering preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in medical device R&D or related industry
- Strong experimental design and statistical analysis skills
- Experience drafting and maintaining DHF and DMR documentation
- Experience with software development and validation processes
Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
