Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, materials, and services to ensure our company's operational needs are met efficiently.
All buyer related tasks-Process purchase orders based on daily/weekly/monthly requirements- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure advantageous terms- Collaborate with internal team to understand their purchasing needs and requirements- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock availability to prevent shortages- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products- Utilize MRP systems for accurate inventory management- Review and process any receiving and/or invoice discrepancies
Experience:- Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and negotiating contracts- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and sourcing strategies- Proficiency in utilizing MRP systems for inventory control- Ability to fabricate cost-effective purchasing strategies while maintaining quality standards- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers
