About the Department
The Innovation and eHealth (IEH) Branch of the New Brunswick Department of Health drives the alignment and integration of innovation and technology across the provinces healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering and facilitate workshops with internal and external stakeholders
Review vendor release documentation and present updates to stakeholders
Develop and execute testing plans (including regression and validation)
Document business processes workflows and standard operating procedures
Manage release management activities including coordination communication and production validation
Collaborate with multiple partners (NBMS FMNB RHAs SNB EMR Vendors NB Health Link)
Support Forms Management and standardization across EMR systems
Provide business analysis expertise for EMR-related and connected health initiatives
Prepare training materials and documentation to support user adoption
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business Administration or related discipline (or equivalent education and experience)
Minimum 5 years experience as a Business Systems Analyst (requirements gathering facilitation analysis design)
Bilingual proficiency (English & French) with excellent communication skills
Availability to work onsite in Fredericton NB during the onboarding period
Vendor submissions limited to 2 candidates per vendor
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Canadian eHealth projects (especially EMR systems)
Knowledge of HL7 integrations lab requisition/results messaging and electronic lab distributions
Experience documenting testing plans workflows and user stories
Proven ability to develop RFI/RFP documentation and manage stakeholder engagement
5 years IM/IT project experience
