09336 - Speech Therapist

Join our team as an experienced Speech-Language Therapist. Make a real impact on children and their families.
Administering standardized assessments and interpreting clinical data.
Leading consultations with families, schools, and community agencies.
Collaborating with physiotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
Regular travel to provide in-home services as part of the Home Visiting Program for Infants.

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university.
Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and ability to travel.
Expertise in speech-language pathology for children and youth with mental health and developmental challenges.
Clinical experience with pediatric speech-language assessment tools and techniques.
Note: Qualification as an Assistive Device Program (ADP) authorizer is an asset. Preference is given to those with specialized experience in Speech-Language Pathology.
Advise on laws, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with professionals, families, and community groups.
Engage with children, youth, and families to agree on care plans.
Coordinate information, collect data, and analyze to develop and monitor client plans.
Manage data from various sources and prioritize tasks.
Use computer software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Prepare reports and materials using verbal and written communication skills.
Present information effectively to clients, families, and community providers.
