Estimated Yearly Remuneration:$350,000+ (Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) or FFS, your choice).
REEF and MOCAP Level 1 for ER.
MSP Premium 23.10% + $35,798.40 Annual Bonus (Flat Fee).
$20,000 Signing Bonus + Moving Allowance $9,000 - $15,000.
REAP and RCME funding available.
Northern Health is seeking a Family Physician with full-scope skills/experience to join a well-established Family Medicine/walk-in clinic and also provide Emergency Room coverage in Dawson Creek. The community has several clinics that work cooperatively.

Dawson Creek And District Hospital Is a Full Service Community Hospital That Provides Service To Dawson Creek And Surrounding Communities. It Has 31 Acute Care Beds And 15 Regional Adult Psychiatric Beds. Services Include

The city has a population of approximately 12,500, provides primary service to a population of 20,000 and helps serve the larger population of the Peace River Region, approximately 60,000.
The city offers shopping, services, restaurants, cafés, a health food store, art gallery, live theatre, and the state-of-the-art Ovintiv Events Centre that hosts major music concerts. Our indoor Farmer's Market is open every Saturday, year-round!
Recreation opportunities include a state-of-the-art indoor Aquatic Centre, indoor walking track, gyms, yoga, Pilates, and dance studios, biking trails, golfing, swimming, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, hiking, camping, bird watching, and visiting our numerous parks. In the wintertime, enjoy our indoor curling rink, two indoor skating rinks, a full-size outdoor speed skating oval, 25 kilometres of groomed trails for cross-country (Nordic) skiing, Bear Mountain Ski Hill (downhill skiing and snowboarding), back-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling.
The city has a wide variety of authentic cuisines including Chinese, Japanese, and Italian (to name a few), and also a wide variety of dining atmospheres: choose from high end restaurants, hotel buffets, familiar franchises, and local coffee shops.
Dawson Creek has eleven elementary schools, one middle school, one secondary school, and one private school (kindergarten to grade 12). Northern Lights College provides post-secondary education.

Vacation Leave Negotiable May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Retention Premium 23.10% Retention Flat Fee $35,798 Relocation Funding Available $9,000 - $15,000 (TBD) Recruitment Incentive $20,000 Other Benefits/Incentives REEF (Rural Emergency Enhancement Funding) and MOCAP (Medical On Call Availability Program) available on top of MSP billings. Rural Education Action Plan (REAP) available. Rural Continuing Medical Education (RCME) available. Moving allowance available: $15,000 if moving from outside of Canada; $12,000 if moving within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if moving within BC.* (lump sum payment, no receipts required) *Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) funding is subject to change without notice.
