In this role, you will help maintain the parks and sports fields in Prince George, ensuring they remain green and well-kept. Your responsibilities will include installing and maintaining turf grass and irrigation systems, as well as performing tasks related to turf construction and maintenance. This encompasses activities such as landscaping, turf repair, irrigation repair and installation, topdressing, overseeding, aerating, fertilizing, sweeping, and mowing.
You have completed Grade 12 and hold a Certified Irrigation Technician Level 1 certification from the Irrigation Association of BC. A Level 1 First Aid certification is also preferred, or you must obtain it within six months. A valid full-privilege Class 5 driver’s license is required (or out-of-province equivalent).
