The Glencoe Club is a private, family-oriented sports and social club located in the Elbow Park neighbourhood of Calgary, Alberta. Our members can train and play in our leading edge sports and recreation facilities; dine in our first-class restaurants; We are seeking a full time Line Cook to join our Kitchen Team. As a Line Cook, you will work in a fast-paced, quick-service culinary environment for our members and guests, creating exceptional experiences with every dish. If you have a passion for the culinary & hospitality industry and enjoy working in a team-oriented dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
Continuous collaboration and communication with Kitchen Team members to prepare culinary dishes
Prepare Mise en Place for service including intricately cutting up vegetables, butchering meat, or crafting sauces while ensuring Food Safety practices
Proactive and timely cooking of high quality dishes to ensure food service comes out simultaneously
A Journeyman Seal or working towards a Red Seal certification an asset
Have open availability morning, evening and weekend
Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written instruction in English
Must be comfortable standing or walking during the length of shift and be able to repetitively lift supplies weighing up to 50lbs
Food Safe Certification and other required certifications

This is a full-time position that reports to the Executive Chef. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
