Maintenance / Fabrication Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in a busy manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities tracking and managing tool inventory working closely with tool suppliers supervisors and employees and serving as the primary point of contact for all on-site maintenance issues.
The successful candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills the ability to prioritize competing demands and the confidence to work with both internal teams and external contractors to ensure facility and equipment needs are addressed efficiently.
Act as the main point of contact for maintenance-related issues across the site
Receive assess prioritize and coordinate maintenance requests in a fast-paced environment
Communicate maintenance status and timelines to supervisors
Track maintain and organize tool inventory for maintenance and production use
Work with suppliers to source tools parts and materials as required
Assist with the coordination and oversight of external contractors performing maintenance or repair work within the facility
Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory logs
Support preventative maintenance planning and scheduling
Experience in a manufacturing industrial or facilities maintenance environment
Experience tracking inventory and working with suppliers
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors employees and external contractors
Flexibility in scheduling to support maintenance needs (when required)
Previous experience in a maintenance coordination or facilities role (considered an asset)

This is where our skilled employees precision-engineer modules (sections) of homes to be delivered to the home site where they are then fitted together and roofing siding drywall and flooring are installed.
