Job : Under the direction of a Program Manager and as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Social Worker MSW provides a range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to a primarily adult community mental health and addiction population. The incumbent provides program consultation, evaluation of clinical interventions, preceptor students in formal clinical practicum and provides professional and public education regarding mental health and addiction issues and resources.
One year (postgraduate) recognized experience in working within community mental health and addiction services
Recognized Masters Degree in Social Work
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Public relations skills
- Broad knowledge of community resources including treatment programs and support agencies is essential.
- Demonstrated experience working with mental health and addiction community outreach and competence in delivering mental health and addiction crisis interventions.
