Analyst Finance Senior

Our client is an asset manager. They are looking for a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting to join their team!

Active involvement in reviewing and producing interim and annual financial statements & MRFPs for all investment funds.* Provide support during the annual audit for all investment funds.* Ability to work with large datasets to produce useful output based on financial reporting and/or expense/budgeting analysis requests from stakeholders.* Support the expense and budget management functions for all investment funds.* Assist with the monthly and year-end tax reporting process, including review of distribution calculations, tax slips and tax returns.* Lead and/or contribute to critical operational and strategic projects. Undergraduate degree in business, accounting or finance. Relevant industry courses considered an asset.* Working towards a professional designation, such as CPA, CFA, or CAIA, would be an asset.* 2+ years of experience in asset management or fund administration.* Solid understanding of fund accounting and investment fund industry operations.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.* Strong project and time management skills, with proven ability meet competing deadlines and set priorities in a dynamic environment.* Adaptable to changing priorities and ad hoc tasks while still maintaining a high level of attention to detail and producing high-quality output.* Proficient in MS Excel.
