Practice Manager, Healthcare

Practice Director Join a team where leadership, initiative, and results matter. Prairie Vision is seeking a Practice Director to oversee two locations, lead high-performing teams, and ensure exceptional patient experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and loves coaching others to do their best work.

As Practice Director, you’ll be the driving force behind our clinics, supporting our Leads, and the entire team to create a culture of excellence. Oversee daily operations, clinic performance, scheduling, patient flow, and operational standards for two clinics.

Lead team education, training, events, and development initiatives.

Manage hiring, performance management, and, when necessary, disciplinary processes.

Collaborate with the CEO on strategic planning, budgeting, annual reviews, conflict resolution, policies, and workplace safety.

Monitor marketing initiatives, social media presence, and community outreach, ensuring alignment with budget and ROI goals.

Track key performance metrics, analyze data, and implement improvements across clinics.

Maintain organized documentation, including training manuals, operations manuals, EMR codes, and clinic policies.

Coordinate Optometrists’ schedules, staffing levels, and clinic operations in collaboration with Clinical and Optical Leads.

Oversee clinic systems, facilities, equipment maintenance, and support inventory management and vendor relationships.

You’re a strategic, organized, and reliable leader who is passionate about building strong teams and supporting their success. Five years of leadership and coaching experience, ideally managing multiple teams or locations.

Ability to work independently, handle competing priorities, and travel between locations.

Experience in strategic planning, performance management, and operational oversight.

Strong understanding of clinic operations, financial management, and patient care standards.

Tech-savvy and proficient using computers, electronic programs and applications (EMR), and Microsoft Office.

Post-secondary education is an asset but not required.

Reliable transportation and flexible availability for multi-clinic oversight.
