Senior Accounting Supervisor

We’re searching for a Senior Financial Accountant. Westland Insurance Group Ltd. is growing and has a new opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant. This is a hybrid role based out of our Surrey, BC or Dartmouth, NS office.

Expected Compensation : The expected hiring range for this role is $76,000 to $95,000. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

You are a master organizer, who can multitask and manage shifting priorities

A natural problem solver with a keen eye for data and details

Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel

A degree in Commerce or Business, with focus on Finance or Accounting

A minimum of four years’ experience as a financial Accountant/senior financial Accountant role with at least seven years of professional experience

CPA designation and experience streamlining processes

Experience in auditing

Flawlessly execute our financial and accounting practices and processes, including reports, annual budgets, presentations, and forecast updates

Navigate the finance integration process of newly acquired entities with Westland policies and processes
