Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Barista to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality beverages. This temporary, part-time position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the retail industry while working in a dynamic and friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
Assist in managing inventory and restocking supplies as needed.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive and efficient work atmosphere.
Qualifications:
No formal education required; however, a high school diploma is an asset.
Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation is an advantage.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
