Be our next ISA Certified Arborist
We are seeking a talented and motivated ISA Certified Arborist / Landscape Designer to join our team. This hybrid role combines arboricultural expertise with creative landscape design supporting a variety of public and private sector projects including parks streetscapes infrastructure and development planning.
Conduct tree inventories health assessments and risk evaluations in accordance with ISA standards.
Prepare Arborist Reports Tree Preservation Plans and Tree Protection Specifications Collaborate with landscape architects and planners to integrate tree protection and planting strategies into design.
Assist in the preparation of landscape design drawings planting plans and construction documents.
Liaise with clients municipalities and contractors during design and construction phases.
Support permit applications and compliance with municipal tree bylaws and policies.
ISA Certified Arborist designation (active and in good standing).
Additional certifications (Tree Risk Assessment Qualification Utility Specialist etc.) Minimum 5 years of professional experience in consulting or related fields.
Strong knowledge of Ontario tree species urban forestry practices and tree protection bylaws.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; Civil 3D and GIS experience is an asset.
Ability to interpret and prepare technical drawings and reports.
Valid Ontario drivers license and access to a vehicle for site visits
