Location: Alberta, Canada (Hybrid/Remote as applicable)

The Reporting Analyst will support the design, development, and optimization of advanced reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI and related business intelligence technologies. The role involves transforming complex and regulated datasets into actionable insights that support operational, policy, and executive-level decision-making.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and stakeholders to develop dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytical workflows aligned with business objectives and user needs.

Design, develop, optimize, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualization solutions.
Translate complex business and operational data into meaningful insights and executive reporting.
Build and support business intelligence, visualization, and analytics platforms that enable data-driven decision-making.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with senior management, project teams, and stakeholders.
Apply data analytics methodologies and tools to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
Support strategic planning by evaluating emerging trends in analytics, AI, machine learning, semantic technologies, and data interoperability.
Prepare business requirements documentation, technical documentation, and reporting specifications.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, governance, and compliance when working with regulated datasets.
Work Experience

Minimum 5 years of direct hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing advanced Power BI solutions for complex and regulated datasets.
Minimum 5 years of experience building business intelligence, visualization, or analytics platforms, including dashboards, reporting, and analytical workflows.
Minimum 5 years of experience facilitating meetings and communicating with senior management and project stakeholders.
Minimum 5 years of experience using data analytics tools and methodologies to derive actionable insights from data.
Experience building analytical and quantitative analysis models.
Strong business writing, communication, and documentation skills.
