Coordinator, Support Services (permanent Full Time)

We are seeking an energetic Claims Coordinator to join our client on a permanent basis. This position will involve assisting clients who have been displaced from their homes. The successful candidate will be able to follow instructions with minimal supervision, work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment and will be able to show sensitivity and professionalism to their customers. This position is starting right away for the right person – don’t wait to apply!

Address customer claims, gather requirements, inputting information to the system, follow up on claims and required information.
Support customers in understanding the services and processes within an insurance claim and by providing exceptional customer service.
Treat customers with empathy and professionalism, answering their questions and explaining the process.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Experience in a service-based industry such as hospitality, real-estate or travel & tourism would be considered an asset.
A post-secondary degree or diploma is considered an asset but not required.
Desire to solve problems, help others, and work with urgency on multiple priorities.
Permanent and full-time.
On-site parking is provided.
Comfortable Monday – Friday schedule, some overtime available.
