Production Baker

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of fresh breads, pastries, desserts, and baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Prepare and bake breads, buns, pastries, cookies, cakes, and other baked products according to recipes and production schedules.

Operate commercial baking equipment safely and efficiently.

Monitor proofing, baking times, and temperatures to ensure quality standards are met.

Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering baking ingredients and supplies.

Minimize waste and contribute to cost-control initiatives.

Collaborate with team members to meet production and customer service goals

Restocking pastry shelves and maintaining a sufficient and fresh supply of baked goods

Creating and following menus to ensure quality of baked goods and desserts

Ensuring consistent quality standard in over-all food preparation as per clients’ requirements including consideration to special dietary constraints

Complying with food hygiene regulations in accordance with Food Safety Act

Previous baking experience in a bakery, food service, hotel, restaurant, or institutional setting preferred.

Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.

Ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Food Safe Certification is considered an asset.

Superior communication skills in both verbal and written English
