Retail Store Lead

The Produce Lead serves as a liaison between Produce team members and the Market Manager to ensure that Produce & Pronto is properly stocked and displayed attractively across Eatalys retail department. The Produce Lead promotes exceptional guest service on the retail team using interpersonal skills and product knowledge to drive sales and improve guest satisfaction. Reports to the Market Manager.

Ensures quality and freshness of all produce in the retail operations in accordance with Eatalys quality standards.

Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of produce (local organic farms sustainability etc.); Demonstrate exceptional customer service in accordance to Eatalys service standards.

Follows order and inventory procedures and receives deliveries verifying order and invoice accuracy

Assists with delegating tasks supervising training and motivating Produce Associates

Rotates products according to First In First Out (FIFO) standards

Inspects shelves and immediately removes expired or damaged merchandise

Assesses departmental food waste with department heads and diverts waste to donations

Partners with Guest Relations Grocery and Events & Education to coordinate product demos

Maintains safe and cleanly work conditions and compliance with state and federal regulations

Performs light cleaning duties such as sweeping dusting and packaging disposal as necessary

High school diploma or equivalent

• 1 year of experience in grocery
• Knowledge of Italian food and beverage preferred

Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Ability to use a hand truck cart box cutter ladder and cleaning supplies
