As a Senior Sales Representative, you will be reporting to the Sales Manager and will work in collaboration with the team of account managers. You will also develop and maintain outstanding business relationships with new and existing customers. This position requires you to work closely with all staff and departments of the company, as well as with customers and suppliers.
Visiting dealers and industrial suppliers, by phone or in person, to promote new and repeat business, offer pricing, provide customer service, answer questions, handle complaints, and build relationships;
Developing reliable contact networks that will allow up-to-date information regarding buy/sell prices and local and regional market trends;
Coordinating with administrative staff and the sales team to ensure accurate and timely documentation of all purchase transactions;
Coaching and supporting the team to drive performance and continuous improvement
You have a college diploma in Commerce, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent training/experience.
experience with ferrous and non-ferrous metals is an asset.
You have strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems (an asset), along with strong results analysis skills.
You have a valid Class 5 driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout the territory.
You are bilingual (French/English) and able to set and manage priorities in a high-pressure work environment.
