We are seeking a talented Software Engineer specializing in Access & Notifications to join our dynamic team in Toronto. This full-time, onsite role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of scalable and robust backend systems that underpin our API-first platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining APIs, libraries, and services that enhance our digital asset infrastructure.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, you will help define and implement new features that improve user experience and operational efficiency. Your work will directly impact the security, performance, and reliability of our services used by thousands of clients globally. Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB

Experience with JVM languages such as Kotlin or Java

Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles

Proficiency in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis

Experience with unit and functional testing, debugging, and CI/CD pipelines

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied mathematics, or a related technical field from a top university

Take ownership of functionality and scalability features from conception through deployment and customer integration

Expose and document functionalities for UI, third-party developers, and internal/external tooling

Ensure optimal application performance, responsiveness, and quality

Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship, and promote a culture of continuous improvement
