Rocket Doctors Medical Lead (Atlantic Canada) will be responsible for leading the development of medical practice on the platform. They will join the MD Lead (MDL) team to help guide Rocket Doctors growth.

The Medical Lead will collaborate to assist new physicians across all provinces with a specific focus on developing services for Nova Scotia New Brunswick Newfoundland and/or PEI. They will help to grow and optimize the medical side of the company through strategic planning.
The primary objective of the Medical Lead is to help develop Rocket Doctors brand and product in their respective territory;
Maintaining regular communication with practicing physicians in the province including (but not limited to) regular participation on relevant Slack channels leading All Docs on Deck quarterly meetings and other community-building events;
Attending and actively participating in regularly scheduled MD Lead meetings;
Helping develop and continually improve our physician handbook;
Acting as a resource to physicians on the RD platform regarding billing and virtual care practices and protocols for both insured and non-insured patients;
As a representative of Rocket Doctor the Physician Lead is an exemplar of how we work on our platform perform and interact with patients and Rocket Doctor staff;
Maintain a high standard of professionalism as established by the College of Physicians and Surgeons;
The position is estimated to be an average of 4 hours per week and will be compensated according to current Rocket Doctor policy.

Licensed to practise medicine in Canada;
Familiarity with the medical landscape in Atlantic Canada;
The position requires native fluency in English; fluency in French is an advantage;
Experience in Business and/or Medical Administration is an advantage.

Position is remote in Canada. Occasional travel may be required.
