We have an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Commercial Finance Team. In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for completing tasks relating to Compliance and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). You will serve as the key financial liaison responsible for supporting in the preparation and analysis of the monthly ADS/LBE (Last Best Estimate), Plan, Update and LRP (Long Rage Plan) from a volume perspective. budget, providing commentary on actuals and completing tasks relating to audits & SOX as required by Corporate Finance.
This role reports to the Finance Lead, Immunology, works very closely with the commercial team and is a key player in ensuring the accuracy of financial information.
Responsible for leading and enhancing the monthly volume forecasting process, while providing support for scenario analysis and forecasting for new product launches.
Responsible for completing the review, tracking and analysis of Immunology expenses.
Work as needed with the Immunology Finance Manager and various internal AbbVie functional areas with Immunology POCNs and Contracts.
Gathering data from multiple sources (eg. Completing monthly accruals for Immunology working closely with Market Access, Customer Excellence (Trade), Marketing and Immunology Finance Manager.
Maintenance and uploading of sales, expenses and other financial related data into the financial and demand planning systems.
Review and approve invoices ensuring compliance and alignment to company policies
Preparing monthly reconciliations of accounts.
Perform Ad Hoc financial analysis upon request.
Continuous process improvement.
Extensive experience in financial analysis, data modeling, and data analysis.
strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
Demonstrates a strong personal capacity for learning new aspects of the business and encourages others to do the same.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA, CFA) preferred
Four to five years of related work experience.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of BPC, APT, SAP, Power BI and JDA considered an asset.
