As a Strategic Business Consultant , you'll play a critical role in helping optometric practice owners achieve their business goals by providing tailored strategic advice. With a blend of business consulting, leadership development, and operational optimization, you'll be at the forefront of empowering clients to thrive.
You'll work remotely but with 25% travel for client meetings and industry events, ensuring you develop the strong relationships needed to make an impact. If you're based in Calgary, you have the option to work from our headquarters.

Leadership Development & Team Dynamics:
Offer strategic advice on organizational structure, team dynamics, and succession planning.
Support clients in hiring, training, and developing cohesive, high-performing teams.
Conduct operational benchmarking and KPI analysis to uncover growth opportunities.
Help practices enhance the patient experience while maintaining high-quality care.
Ensure that patient satisfaction and retention strategies align with overall business goals.
Client Collaboration & Development:
Provide ongoing support and progress monitoring to ensure sustained client success.
Collaborate with the Senior Director of Client Solutions to address any client satisfaction issues.
Business Development:
Support new partner acquisition through referrals, relationship-building, and strategy sessions.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (MBA preferred)

• 7+ years of experience in business consulting, ideally within the healthcare, dental, or optometry sectors
• Proven expertise in strategic planning, leadership development, and operational optimization
• Experience working with small businesses, providing tailored solutions for complex challenges
• Strong financial acumen, including KPI analysis, benchmarking, and cash flow optimization
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-first mindset
• Ability to travel up to 25% for client meetings and industry events
• Prior management or advisory experience in healthcare, optometry, or dental sectors

Experience with CRM systems and familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications
Public speaking or facilitation experience in training or client presentations
